The University of Aswan: Ranked as “Top One” in Egypt & Second in Africa on THE Impact Rankings 2021.
The University of Aswan has the vision to become one of the public universities distinguished in education, culture, scientific research and sources of knowledge. It also looks forward to recognizing its education, scientific research, creative activity, and public services, as well as achieving, renewing and preparing education from a global perspective.
Aswan University made a remarkable achievement, and as mentioned on the university’s Facebook page “A first of its kind”. The Aswan University ranked 95th globally according to the British Times Ranking for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. Except its position as 95th on the Top 100 worldwide, the university was ranked 8th for SDG2 (Zero hunger), 31st for SDG 11 (Sustainable cities and communities) and 33rd for SDG17 (Partnerships for the goals). In addition, its 95th position internationally classifies it as the Top 1 University in Egypt on the ranking basis, and Top Two in Africa.
