The LMD system is a higher education system of three levels: License, Master, and Doctorate. In Côte d’Ivoire, the use of the LMD system has started since the start of the 2012-2013 academic year, and the government to set up the system has devoted significant efforts.
However, the effective implementation of this system is considered complicated due to the constraints that higher education institutions encounter. For this, taking into consideration the needs of learners and mobilizing in particular the professional world, an important decision was taken.
This Wednesday, June 16, 2021, the government decided to initiate a second phase of deployment of the License-Master-Doctorate system in Côte d’Ivoire by supporting higher education institutions, throughout the finalization process in order to implement the system effectively.
