Africa’s continent universities strongly present on THE Impact Rankings 2021.
THE Impact rankings showed impressive appearance of African universities. Besides the previously mentioned countries, other nations shined on the rankings. We mention among those shinning universities:
- The University of Ghana ranked as Top one in Ghana among the universities appearing on the ranking, and thus, University of Ghana ranked 201-300 globally.
- Tunisia also showed a remarkable presence with 6 universities appearing on THE Impact
Rankings with The University of Tunis El Manar on top of the list, ranked 301-400 worldwide.
- Nigeria participated with 5 universities appearing on the rankings of which the best and Top One is The Covenant University globally ranked 401-600.
- Kenyatta University made the presence of Kenya on the ranking as the Top One and only appearing university of the country, with the ranking 401-600 globally.
- Six Algerian universities appeared on the rankings, and The University of Béjaïa on top of the list, ranked 601-800 internationally.
- Tanzania also made its presence with The University of Dar Es Salaam achieving the ranking 801-1000
- Sudan appeared on the rankings with The National University of Sudan; ranking 1001+ globally.

The University Impact Rankings 2021. Publié par le journal anglais Times Higher Education (THE) le 21 avril est un classement qui prend en compte les contributions sociales et économiques des universités établies sur les objectifs de développement durable des Nations Unies. Le classement de sa troisième édition comprend 1117 universités de 94 pays.
Le classement est selon le sujet ou la spécialité. Cette fois, la classification comprend onze domaines, qui sont les arts et les sciences humaines, les affaires et l’économie, l’informatique, les cliniques et la santé, l’éducation, l’ingénierie et la technologie, le droit, les sciences de la vie, les sciences physiques, la psychologie et les sciences sociales.
De nombreuses universités africaines figurent dans ce classement, ce qui prouve et donne de l’espoir sur l’efficacité du système d’enseignement supérieur en Afrique par rapport à la mise en œuvre des objectifs de développement durable.
